Provides even further-enhanced image quality for x-ray applications demanding optimal defect detection
Roselle, IL - August 6, 2007 - FUJIFILM Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Systems, Inc., a Roselle, IL,-based digital imaging company, has introduced the Dynamix HR, setting a new standard of image quality for digital x-ray inspection systems. The Dynamix HR offers twice the reading density of the current system and provides true 0.002 x 0.002 pixel resolution, producing incredible 62-megapixel images that enable the detection of even minute defects.
The Dynamix HR is a 50-micron resolution digital image reader that comes from a long line of products with a proven track record in non-destructive testing applications for inspection of even the smallest image details. The system achieves high speed cycle times that permit the reading and erasing of every 14 x 17 inch imaging plate (IP) as quickly as 97 seconds, reading up to 72 IPs an hour. Both the newly developed UR-1 and the conventional ST-VI imaging plates are compatible with the Dynamix HR. All Fujifilm's imaging plates are reusable.
"We're thrilled to be delivering such a powerful tool for research and analysis in the non-destructive testing industry," said Doug Hackradt, National Sales Manager, Fujifilm NDT Systems. "The unprecedented image quality of the Dynamix HR has already put this system in high demand, with several units already sold and awaiting delivering to leading aerospace and electrical facilities. The system delivers a quick and easy-to-use solution for the various needs of modern x-ray inspection."
Dynamix HR's slim, space-saving design is only about 60% the size and weight of the previous model, making it possible to install this compact unit in cramped inspection areas, research facilities, or even in mobile inspection vehicles. Using Fujifilm's propriety imagine processing technology, it provides maximum image quality with minimum exposure compared to conventional x-ray film. And the system provides a wide dynamic range resulting in wide allowance of x-ray exposure value.
The Dynamix HR is available now.
